Welcome to
Rey-Lyn Poms Kennel
Pomeranians are simply a joy to watch. They make me think of a little fox. Their inquisitive and bubbly personality warms the heart and their loving temperament is truly one of the joys of living. This is what first drew me to the breed and keeps me fascinated.
We are a small breeder located in North East Saskatchewan at the edge of the tree line. We often see fox and coyote pups playing in the warm spring sun and it truly reminds me of my little Poms.
Our Poms are raised with us and spend many happy hours playing in the sun on warm sunny days. We do not crate our Poms and have portable kennels that we move around our acreage to keep them safe from wild life. All our dogs are spoiled rotten and each get special treats at bed time.
We are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and the Pomeranian Club of Canada. Many of our Poms have dual citizenship, that is, they are CKC and AKC registered.
We have a excellent selection of colors from White to Black and most everything in between. We breed only Registered, Healthy and Personality + Pomeranians. To guarantee soundness of the breed and to ensure the best of care all our dogs have scheduled appointments with our local Veterinarian. This enables us to make responsible decisions for the breeding of our small females.
Mom, who is this guy. Look at his eyes, they sure are big. I think he's friendly.

Male Versus Female-Which Makes the Best Family Pet?
I am always asked for Girls for Pets, but is the girl dog really easier to train for Potty? NO-ABSOLUTELY NOT! infact- If the Male is Neutered before 5-6 months of age, when his TESTOSTERONE LEVELS RISE-REACH MATURITY, HE USUALLY WILL NEVER HIKE HIS LEG/OR EXIBIT THAT MALE BEHAVIOR. He is always willing to please, and comes to you for attention ALL the time. Where the female can still mark her terrritory just like a male, and most are moody/only come to you for attention when they want it, and can be very stubborn. They are harder to train, and usually in the wild FEMALES, are the boss, SO what this means is that they are DOMINANT, NOT THE MALE. They can be more aggressive towards kids., biting, snarling-growling at them, and more protective of your family and belongings.
Males are usually Not Fighters/Don't Start Fights over Nothing/Don't initiate squables over that kibble/or even where they are going to sleep, but FEMALES DO, INFACT MOST OF THE FIGHTS IN MY BREEDING PROGRAM ARE STARTED BY CRANKY FEMALES. Males like to play longer, and will chase balls/act like puppies/exploring their surroundings/ like to ride in the car with you. Infact, they like to be with you MUCH MORE than a female dog.
If you have either Male/Female Spayed/Neutered the size is about the same-Weight Gain comes to both sexes/Obesity usually is due to overfeeding snacks and NO exersize, which usually come with the female, NOT the Males. This leads to more Costs in VET BILLS in the long run
Still think you want a GIRL?
Males Train easier for Obedience-Most of the Guard dogs/Police dogs/Rescue dogs are Male, Why is that? Think, Females are moody, and when they don't want to they Don't! So, if you want a girl, go ahead, get the Moody, Obstinent, Costs More, Less attentive, less affectionate dog.
This is just basically my opionion, and those of other breeders who have spent alot of time with both sexes of dogs/puppies! YOU STILL HAVE TO MAKE THAT CHOICE, BUT I HOPE THIS HAS OPENED YOUR EYES TO THE ASPECTS OF BOTH SEXES- MALES USUALLY COST LESS THAN THE PRICE OF THE FEMALE PUPPIES-THERE IS NOT REALLY A GOOD REASON FOR THIS IF YOU ARE GOING TO SPAY-NEUTER YOUR PET
We have two puppies available. Pictures of our on the nursery page
